Your tropical green reset in a glass
This refreshing Papaya Pineapple Spinach Juice is sunshine in a cup. It’s sweet, vibrant, and just the right kind of green—like a tropical vacation for your tastebuds. I made this immune-boosting juice recipe, and now I can’t stop making it. It’s hydrating, energizing, and just feels so good to sip on, especially post-workout or first thing in the morning.
Juicing was something I grew up seeing my parents do, so making it part of our daily rhythm comes naturally. My dad used to keep a counter full of produce ready to juice—carrots, ginger, oranges, greens—you name it. We’d rotate flavors with the seasons, and even as a kid, I remember feeling so fancy drinking a cup of juice we made ourselves.
Now, as a busy mom myself, I still lean on juicing. It’s a quick way to load up on nutrients without overthinking meals—especially on days when I’ve worked out fasted or just need something light and nourishing. I will say though… it can get a bit expensive. My biggest tip? Switch out the fruits based on what’s in season. If papaya or pineapple isn’t in stock or feels too pricey, try melon, mango, or even oranges to keep the flavor tropical without breaking the budget.
Juicing is also one of those things that turns into a ritual once you get into it. There’s something really grounding about picking your produce, prepping everything by hand, and watching it turn into something beautiful and nourishing. It slows you down—in the best way.
This juice, in particular, is one I keep coming back to. It’s light but satisfying, gently detoxifying, and gives me that little pick-me-up when coffee just isn’t the vibe. You know those days? This juice gets it.
I shared the whole process over on TikTok, and you all went wild for the colors—so here’s the full recipe in blog form for easy saving, sharing, and sipping. 💛🌿🍍
Juicer vs. Masticator – What’s the Difference?
I’ve been using the same juicer I got as a wedding gift almost 10 years ago (shoutout to sturdy appliances that last 🙌), and it still gets the job done. I’ll link the exact one I use right here. But lately, I’ve been eyeing a masticating juicer.
The main difference? A regular juicer—often called a centrifugal juicer—works fast, using blades to shred the produce and spin out the juice. A masticator, on the other hand, uses a slow, grinding motion to press the juice out. That slower process means less heat and oxidation, which some research says helps preserve more nutrients and enzymes in the juice. Basically, same fruit—more benefits. If you’re in the market, I’ll also link a highly rated masticating juicer here that’s on my wishlist!
Ingredients
(Serves 1–2)
- ½ ripe papaya
- ½ pineapple
- 3 generous handfuls of spinach
Instructions
- Prep your papaya: Slice the papaya in half, scoop out the seeds, and peel the skin with a handheld peeler. Cut into smaller chunks so it fits into your juicer easily.
- Prep your pineapple: Remove the skin and core, then cut into juicer-friendly chunks.
- Juice it all: Start by running the spinach through your juicer. Follow with the pineapple chunks, and finish with the papaya.
- Optional Strain: If you like your juice silky smooth, run it through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag as you pour it into your glass.
- Serve cold: Pour over ice if you’re feeling fancy, or just sip it fresh and frothy straight from the juicer.

Why I Love It
This combo is so refreshing. The papaya gives it a creamy sweetness, the pineapple adds a punchy tang, and the spinach balances it all with some deep green goodness. Plus, this juice is packed with vitamin C, enzymes, and anti-inflammatory benefits—which we love.

FAQ
Can I use frozen fruit?
You can—but let it thaw first. Frozen papaya or pineapple will be too firm for most juicers unless slightly softened.
Can I use kale instead of spinach?
Yep! Kale will work too if you want a slightly bolder green flavor.
How long does it last?
It’s best fresh, but you can store it in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.
