Easy and Delicious Nescafe Coffee 3 Leches Cake

If you have a sweet tooth and also love coffee, I have the BEST dessert for you. Today’s recipe is a Delicious Nescafe Coffee 3 leches cake. This moist, light, and fluffy cake is a traditional Latin American dessert. I grew up having it at many birthday parties. Tres leches is a decadent vanilla cake drowned in three different kinds of milk: regular whole milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. It is so delicious, if you haven’t tried it yet you have to. To defere from the traditional vanilla cake, I added Nescafé to my batter to make my cake a vanilla and coffee flavor. If you want to learn how I made it, just keep on reading.

Delicious Nescafe Coffee 3 Leches Cake

Ingredients

  • Your favorite Vanilla cake mix
  • 2 tbsp of Nescafe Clasico
  • 1 cup of water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • 1/2 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of sweet condensed milk
  • 6 oz Heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 7 cut strawberries

Method

Step 1: Preheat your Oven

Step 2: Make The Cake Batter

Follow the directions on your preferred cake box.

Step 3: Add Nescafe

Take 2 tbsp of Nescafé and put them in a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp of warm water and stir it together until the instant coffee is completely dissolved. Add the Nescafé mixture to your cake batter.

Step 4:Butter Your Cake Pan

Add a generous amount of butter to your cake pan. Sprinkle a little bit of all-purpose flour into the pan to ensure the cake doesn’t stick. Pour your Nescafé Coffee cake batter into the cake pan. I used a rectangle cake pan

Step 5: Put Cake Into The Oven

Add the cake pan into the oven at the required heat level.

Step 6: Make The Tres Leches Mixture

While the cake bakes, in a large bowl add ½ cup of regular whole milk, 1 can of evaporated milk, and 1 can of sweet condensed milk.  Whisk it together until they are all incorporated.

Step 7: Remove Cake From Oven

Once your cake is ready, pull it out of the oven and let it cool for 20-40 minutes.

Step 8: Make your Frosting Topping & Cut Strawberries

While your cake is cooling, to a medium bowl add 1½ cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 ½ tsp of granulated sugar. Whisk that until medium peaks. DO NOT OVER WHISK IT OR IT WILL BECOME BUTTER.

I used my Kitchen aid emersion blender to help me whisk faster. If you have a hand beater or even a Kitchen aid stand mixer, these will also work.

Set the whipped cream aside and start cutting your strawberries.

Step 9: Add The Tres Leches To Your Cake

Take a fork and poke holes on top of the cake all throughout.  Take your tres leches or three milk mixture and pour them slowly onto your cake. I poured it into 3 parts, Let the cake absorb the milk before pouring again.

Step 10: Add Whipped Cream

Once the milk has been added to the cake, take a baking spatula and layer on the whipped cream. Make sure the cake is covered with the whipped topping. Add the strawberries to the top in whichever way you want to decorate the cake.
